In his televised Q&A session 'Conversation with Vladimir Putin' the
Russian prime minister answered the questions of who failed to prevent
Internet calls for a gathering at the Kievsky Rail Terminal and the
fight between Caucasus migrants and nationalists.
Putin said that there are 'bacilli of radicalism' in any society. The
issue was raised by a telephone call from a local of Vyazma city,
Rustam. He pointed out that the calls were seen in social networks
such as 'VKontakte' and 'Odnoklassniki'.
Vladimir Putin said that Slav ethnicities living in the Caucasus need
to respect the local traditions, Caucasian living in Moscow need to
respect the Russian culture. The police need to make equal demands of
both of them.
The disorders in Moscow were caused by the murder of Yegor Sviridov, a
fan of Spartak football club. The authorities did not react properly
to the problem, Putin said.
Sviridov was killed in a fight on December 6. Six people were arrested
by later five of them were released. A native from Kabardino-Balkaria
Aslan Cherkesov is suspected of murdering the fan using an air gun.
Putin compared radicalism with bacilli. He said that they are present
in any society. If the immune system is strong enough the bacilli are
non-hazardous. But when the society has problems the disease starts
progressing.
