Iran 'agrees' to give IAEA more access

Diplomatic sources said on Friday that Iran has agreed in principle to give the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) greater monitoring rights to a uranium enrichment site.

The diplomats say while the agreement is not yet in force, Teheran has agreed to increase the capacity of the IAEA to monitor a site where it has been enriching uranium for two months. Although Iran hasn't agreed to the full set of measures the IAEA aspired to, the Islamic Republic
had agreed to a substantially high level of monitoring.

Iran's chief IAEA deputy representative, Ali Asghar Soltanieh, said that the talks between Iran and the IAEA were "constructive", although he didn't directly confirm the information received from the anonymous diplomats, reports Associated Press.
