NATO Secretary General supported the integration of Georgia into the alliance

The first official meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Baramidze and NATO Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, was held today in Brussels, the headquarters of the alliance. It was dedicated to the successful completion of the first part of the annual national program for Georgia.

Assessment in connection with the first part of the program presented the international secretariat of NATO. It underlined the progress that Georgia has achieved in the implementation of the program, Trend reports with reference to <http://trend.az> apparatus vice-premier.

They noted that Georgia was able to quickly and accurately move from individual partnership program for the annual national program. Representatives of the International Secretariat, visited Georgia in early October and reviewed the situation regarding the implementation of the program, which includes reforms in the areas of democracy, security and others.
