Investigators will study the theory of "foreign fingerprints" in the
terrorist attack at Moscow's Domodedovo airport on January 24,
a spokesman for the National Counter-Terrorist Committee, Andrey
Przhezdomsky, told RIA Novosti.
A source had said earlier that law-enforcers had information on
suspected supporters of the militants in Zelenograd, near Moscow. The
Main Police Department of Moscow denied the information.
A police source in Rostov Region said that the road police had
information on two vehicles which could have been used by the
terrorists. The source confirmed that the police were searching for a
Zhiguli car registered in Dagestan and a Peugeot registered in
Chechnya.
The blast at the international arrival terminal of Domodedovo airport
happened on January 24. Preliminary information says it was a
suicide-bomber who activated a bomb containing metal components. Its
power was equivalent to 7 kg of TNT. 35 died and 123 were injured.
