Georgia opens Mobility Center for migrants

Georgian Minister for Refugees, Koba Subeliani, and Czech Foreign Minister, Karel Schwarzenberg, opened a Mobility Center for migrants returning to Georgia today, Business Georgia reports.

The main objective of the project is to ensure the return and reintegration of repatriated illegal migrants from Georgia.

The project is funded by the European Union, under the supervision of the Czech Foreign Ministry, together with another eight EU member-states in cooperation with the Ministry of Refugees in Georgia.


The Mobility Center will provide consultations to repatriated migrants in the following areas: vocational training, employment opportunities, medical aid and search for temporary housing.
