Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and leader of the United Russia Party has improved his rating from 48% to 52%, according to studies of the All-Russia Public Opinion Research Center on January 14, published today, RIA Novosti reports.
Communist leader Gennady Zyuganov improved his rating from 10% to 11%. The number of people willing to vote for Fair Russia or Yabloko dropped. from 5% to 4%, Sergey Mironov’s rating dropped from 5% to 4%, businessman Mikhail Prokhorov’s – from 3% to 2%, Grigory Yavlinsky’s – from 2% to 1%.
Other candidates have sustainable ratings: LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky has 9%, Governor of the Irkutsk Region Dmitry Mezentsev – 0%, leader of the unregistered party Volya, Svetlana Peunova, - 0%.
The All-Russia Public Opinion Research Center questioned 1600 people in 153 cities of 46 regions in Russia. The margin of error does not exceed 3.4%.
Russia will hold presidential polls on March 4.
