Special services have found the archive of Ibragim Daudov, a Dagestani militant leader, including his video message with calls for murders in the Dagestani village of Gurben, RIA Novosti reports.
Vitaly Razdobudko, a local from Pyatigorsk, organized terrorist attacks on Gurben on February 14, 2011. A suicide bomber broke into the local police station. A second blast took place at the entrance bridge to the village. The explosions were followed by gunfire from the local forest, about 30 people were wounded. Three militants were found in the Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan after a special operation on Tuesday. Nikolai Sintsov, a spokesman for the National Counter-Terrorism Committee, confirmed that one of the militants was Daudov.
Daudov is suspected of responsibility for the blast in Makhachkala on the night of September 21-22, 2011. One police officer died and over 40 were injured. The police say that Daudov had been heading the militants after the death of the previous leader in August 2010. Daudov’s wife, Zavzhat Ubadulayevna, accidently blew herself up with an improvised bomb at Kuzminki. She planned her terrorist attack in Moscow on December 31, 2010. Daudov was put on the federal wanted list for preparations of the attack. Daudov’s three sons were all involved in illegal armed formations. The police say that Daudov was trafficking weapons and was responsible for blasts, racketeering, murders and attacks, including the assault on the Gurben.
