Azerbaijani scientists start developing common Turkic alphabet

 

A special group of scientists have started development of a common alphabet for Turkich languages, TurkPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov said on Friday, Trend reports.

The TurkPA committee for humanitarian and social issues says that the initiatives has gained unanimous support.

TurkPA was founded in Baku in 2009. Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are involved in the organization. The goal of TurkPA is mutual support for Turkic states in international organizations and exchange of legislative experience. The organization preserves modern language, culture and history of Turkic states, strengthens political, economic and cultural ties of its member states.
