Experts: it's time to bring up future leaders of Eurasian Union

Today RIA Novosti hosted a round table discussion in the format of a video
conference with participants from Moscow and Astana, entitled "Bringing up
the future leaders of the Eurasian Union." According to the Deputy Dean of
the History Department of Moscow State University, editor-in-chief of
Vestnik Kakvaza Alexei Vlasov, the formation of employees for Eurasian
integration structures should be regarded as a special issue in the
formation of the Eurasian continent.

"There is no special trend in Eurasia on the modernization of staff today.
Meanwhile, soon we will face a situation when experts in economics, legal,
informational and image support will become needed in the Eurasian Union,"
Vlasov said, adding that one way to strengthen Eurasian integration is
to strengthen links between universities in Russia and Kazakhstan,
especially in border regions.

Vlasov noted that the majority of Kazakh officials in their 30s and 50s
graduated from a Russian university.

The head of the Kazakh Center for International Programs "Bolashak", Sayasat
Nurbe,k agreed that most of the modern managerial elite of Kazakhstan
consists of graduates of Russian universities, but stressed that the
picture is changing.
The deputy head of the movement "Young Professionals" of the Agency for
Strategic Initiatives (ASI), Anastasia Preobrazhenskaya, has reported on the
work of the agency on the training of young managers. She said that the ASI
tries to support young professionals from regional centers of Russia and is
implementing at the moment two regional projects - "Elevator to the Future"
and "Vertical Flight" which helps alumni to connect with potential employers
