Armenian first-graders presented with 5,000 ABC books from Russia

Armenian first-graders of advanced Russian language studies schools have received 5,000 new ABC books as a present from the Russian Cooperation organisation, News Armenia reports, citing the head of the Russian Cooperation office in Armenia, Victor Krivopuskov.


He said that the books were presented at the Pushkin middle school No8 in Yerevan. The books were made by Russian Cooperation and the publishing house ‘Raduga’. The books contain information about Armenia and Russia and cooperation between the two countries.


One of the authors, Doctor of Pedagogics, member of the Academy of Pedagogic and Social Sciences of Russia, Bella Yesajanyan, noted that the new book is peculiar for its enhanced methods of teaching reading and plots for stage plays.
