The Moscow City Library Center said that QR codes will be installed in ground public transportation on September 1 to allow passengers to download or read books online. The project is called Reading Transport, Interfax reports.Codes will be available on about 700 busses, trolleybuses and trams in five districts of the city, including the central districts. Passengers will be offered to read texts of Victor Pelevin, Vladimir Sorokin, Lyudmila Ulitskaya, Sergey Lukyanenko, Russian and foreign classic literature.Readers will also be offered to buy books on the Internet or find the address of the nearest library.
