23 people injured in disorders in Turkey

One man died in clashes between protesters and police in Istanbul. 66 people were detained and 52 people, including two police officers, were injured. Teenagers joined the protests last night. Activists threw stones at the police.

Over a dozen cars and buses were set alight in Agri. A municipal building of one of the districts was set on fire. There have been no disorders in tourist areas.

Kurds, pro-Kurdish parties and the PKK were the main activists in the protests, outraged by the progress of ISIS in the fighting against Kurdish militia in the Syrian city of Kobani.
