Turkey will send aeroplanes to help Lebanon put out wildfires, Trend
reports, citing Anadolu.
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan ordered two Turkish fire -fighting
planes be sent to Lebanon.
The fire in Israel's Karmel reached Lebanon on Sunday. Four square
kilometres around the Fatri village, located to the east of Beirut
burned down.
Israel informed on Sunday that it does not need any additional air
support. People were allowed to return home in three villages. Reuters
notes that the rains helped put out the fire.
Moreover, Turkey sent two planes to help flood-stricken Albania, TRT reports.
Turkey may send additional aircraft to Albania.
Diplomatic sources say that Turkey may help other Balkan countries
suffering from natural disasters. Humanitarian aid will also be sent
to Montenegro.
