The Georgian authorities have again expressed readiness to cooperate
with Russia against terrorism, the president's press spokeswoman
Manana Mandzhgaladze said, Trend reports.
Georgia arrested a group of people, suspected of organizing blasts in
September-November. The Georgian investigative authorities believe
that the group was instructed and supervised by Russian military
located in Abkhazia.
Tbilisi experienced 2 explosions on the night of November 28. One
blast occurred at Javakhishvili Street near the Labor Party office.
Windows in nearby houses were smashed and a wall and the ceiling
collapsed in the office.
Nino Gordeziani, 58, an activist of the Labor Party, died in the
explosion. Five people, including a child, were injured.
Another blast occurred near the US embassy in Georgia on September 22.
Officials say that the bomb was placed 40 meters from the embassy
entrance, under a cemetery wall.
