Russian tourists injured in Turkey will be placed in 5 Moscow clinics

The 22 Russians injured in Turkey will be placed in five Moscow
clinics, RIA Novosti reports, citing the press-service of the Russian
Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development.


A bus with Russian tourists fell down a 15m high bridge over the River
Aksu in Turkey on Tuesday. In addition to the 39 Russian tourists
there were two Turkish citizens – a driver and a guide. 15 people died
in the accident, including 13 Russians, with 26 injured.


By 18.30 on 26th May 2010 a specialist from the ministry had examined
the injured, who are currently in the cities of Antalya and Belek. 22
people are ready to be evacuated.


According to the ministry, 2 people were discharged from hospital,
wishing to continue their vacation in Turkey.

2 people are in especially grave condition, 14 – in grave condition, 7
– in medium condition, 1 – in satisfactory condition.


The ministry also reports that the two people in especially grave
condition will stay in Turkey for treatment, as they are not in any
state to move. The other 22 injured will arrive in Moscow on a plane
of the Ministry for Emergency Situations.


Six Russian hospitals have prepared places for the injured. Six pat
ientswill be placed in the Central Institute of Traumatology and
Orthopedics of Pirov, 5 – in the Federal Medical and Biological Center
of Burnazyan, 3 – in the science research institute of the
Sklifosovskiy ambulance centre, the Vishnevskiy scientific surgical
research institute and Childrens Hospital No 9, and two others will be
hospitalized in the Burdenko neurosurgical research institute.
