A soldier was killed and two were injured by a fougasse explosiontoday in Turkey. The incident took place in the north-eastern city of
Dereli. The bomb exploded while soldiers were driving a vehicle
through a checkpoint, Reuters reports.

No group has taken responsibility for the explosion yet.
