The Romantik tourism village in south Russia's Arkhyz Resort has been connected to power supply.
Testing started on October 15 and repeated at full power on October 29, a press release of the Northern Caucasus Resorts reports.
A 110/35/10 KW power plant and a high-voltage 110-KW power line running from the Zelenchukskaya substation were built. The power line is 54 km long. 35/10 KW substations were built with 7-km power lines.
The Arkhyz Resort is the starting platform of the tourism cluster in the North Caucasus Federal District, Krasnodar Territory and Adygeya. The project includes construction of four tourism villages for 24,000 people, 54 elevators for 45,000 people daily and over 260 km of skiing routes. About 500,000 people are expected to visit the resort annually after its full launch.
