The Grand Ring Hotel in Turkey, where nearly 70 Russian tourists were poisoned, will provide the victims with a week-long stay for free in the current summer season or the next one in compensation, the CEO of "Pegas Touristik" Anna Podgornaya said today.
"There were around 50 clients of our company among the guests of the hotel. 28 people turned for help to the insurance company. All of them were taken to the hospital for examination, this is common practice. We proposed a hotel replacement at no additional cost, and tourists from five rooms agreed to move. Now they are staying at the hotel "Club Zigana," RIA Novosti quotes Podgornaya.
"The hotel itself has paid the extending franchise (unpaid portion of insurance coverage) to the amount of $30 per person. And, in addition, as compensation it offered a week's free stay in the current summer season or the next one. So, the tourists will only need to buy their travel tickets," Podgornaya added.
