Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that he intended to build such unity with Russia that would serve as an example to all others during his visit to Vladivostok on Wednesday.
"[They say that] Belarus will accede to Russia. I am saying that Putin and I are not that stupid to use old methods. We will build such unity of two independent states that others will learn from us. And how to overcome sanctions, and so on," Lukashenko said.
The Belarusian president arrived in Vladivostok on Wednesday where he intends to discuss cooperation between the Primorsky Region and Belarus with the region’s Governor Oleg Kozhemyako.
