Several days ago RANEPA hosted the 8th Gaidar Forum, a unique platform for socio-economic discussions of experts and representatives of the Russian government. This year's forum brought together an unprecedented number of both foreign and Russian participants, showing a significant increase in the interest of economists in the future economic and social development of the Russian Federation. The agenda of the forum was based on speeches of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, his deputy Igor Shuvalov, Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, deputy chairman of the Central Bank Tatyana Yudaeva, head of the Accounts Chamber Tatyana Golikova, chairman of the Board of the Center for Strategic Research Alexei Kudrin.
