One of the pearls of Moscow’s west side is the apple orchard, which is located along Kutuzovsky Prospekt. It is especially beautiful in its bloom.
The garden was planted in the late 40s by local school children - members of the pioneer movement ‘Decorate the Homeland with Gardens’. Then Moscow’s border was at the top of Poklonnaya Gora and the garden was on the outskirts of the city. Now, this is one of the favorite vacation spots of inhabitants of the city.
