The Boulevard is the business card of Baku.
The Department of the Primorsky Boulevard under the Cabinet of Ministers was created in 2008 by decree of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, given the importance of the Seaside Boulevard to the history, culture and ecology of Baku. Then the boulevard started to be arranged and reconstructed.
Now it is one of the longest, widest, cleanest and most comfortable boulevards in the world.
