Today a plenary session of the 4th Christmas Parliamentary Meetings was held in the Federation Council, in which the Chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko and Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia participated.
The subject of the parliamentary meetings was ‘Tradition and innovation: culture, society, personality.’
Before the beginning of the session, Chairwoman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko and Patriarch Kirill visited an exhibition in the Federation Council.
At the end of the meeting the children who won the 11th International Competition of Children's Creativity ‘The Beauty of God's World’ were awarded. The Patriarch was also given a gift of a Bratina bucket, a symbol of unity and friendship.
