Yesterday the Festival “Cossack Village - Moscow” took place in the Moscow museum park of Kolomenskoye for the fifth time. This is the only event in Russia, which reveals the rich heritage of the Cossacks. The festival’s slogan is “The Cossacks are Honor of the Russian Land!” The Cossacks from many regions of Russia came to participate in the Moscow festival.
The event was organized by the Department of Ethnic Policy, Inter-religious Contacts and Tourism of Moscow, the Russian Presidential Council for Cossack Affairs, and the Military Cossack Society “Central Cossack Army.”
