A total of 32 national football teams split up into eight groups are participating in the World Cup. There will be one stage. The top two teams from each group advance to 1/8 finals. Then they compete in a single-elimination style tournament - the losing team is eliminated from the entire tournament. The final match will take place at the Luzhniki stadium on July 15. The third-place final will take place in St. Petersburg on July 14.
