Today in Moscow an unusual Hanukkah was celebrated, the main idea of which was to combine the cultures of the Jewish and the Caucasian peoples. The holiday was arranged by the Mountain Jew community and, therefore, along with the lighting of the Hanukkah candles and traditional holiday donuts, the guests of the event – and there were several hundred people – were able to watch lezginka dancing, listen to Caucasian music and enjoy Caucasian cuisine.
