Today, marks one year since the terrible terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall. Instead of a concert of the music band Piknik, 145 people died in fire and smoke, and the total number of victims reached 551.
On March 22, 2025, a memorial was inaugurated near the Crocus building in Krasnogorsk (Moscow region) in memory of the victims of the tragedy: two black granite steles with figures of cranes and the inscription:
"In memory of the victims of the inhuman terrorist act of March 22, 2024"
The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov. Later, the Mufti of the Moscow Region, Ruslan Abbyasov, also laid flowers at the monument.
According to a Vestnik Kavkaza correspondent, people have been bringing flowers to the memorial all day to honor the memory of the victims. One of them is 15-year-old Islam Khalilov, who, while working as a cloakroom attendant a year ago, saved more than a hundred people by leading them out of a burning building
