Today, Russian office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Azerbaijani Cultural Center in Moscow and the Library of Foreign Literature named after Rudomino have presented Azer Dzhangirov's book "Comet Tail. Pages of Anatoly Banishevsky's Life."
It is the first time when a book dedicated to Anatoly Banishevsky (1946-1997), Azerbaijani athlete and football player, is published outside of Azerbaijan. He was the captain of Baku football team 'Neftchi', played for the USSR national team, was a Honored Master of Sports, the king of Azerbaijani football, was named the best player of the 20th century in Azerbaijan, the idol of hundreds of thousands of fans of this game in our former common country.
