Yesterday a new project ‘Caucasian Recipes’ started in Moscow, which aims to strengthen interethnic unity.
The project ‘Caucasian Recipes’ is implemented by the Russian Congress of Peoples of the Caucasus. Anyone willing can take part in it by submitting an online application form.
In the framework of the event, two international teams under the direction of a chef prepared dishes of Caucasian cuisine in a Moscow restaurant. Yesterday it was lamb khashlama, hingalash (an Ingush cake with pumpkin) and baklava. Then after tasting the dishes a jury chose the winner. All the participants received certificates of completion of the masterclass.
The purpose of the project is the formation of a positive image of the Caucasus and Caucasians in the metropolitan area, and cross-cultural exchange.
