Today, the Airborne Forces of the Russian Army celebrate 90-year anniversary from the day of foundation.
In Ryazan, at the "Spartak" stadium, a military-sports festival "Ryazan - the city of the Airborne Forces" was held. The theatrical performance "Officer's Waltz", tattoos of the honour guard company of The General V.F. Margelov Ryazan Guards Higher Airborne twice Red Banner Order of Suvorov Command School, airborne troops, athletes parachutists and paramilitary relay were held in the city.
