A large-scale folk festival called the Kursk Levada, dedicated to Trinity Day, took place today at the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve.
This tradition is being revived to introduce everyone to Russian culture. In the past, villagers would don festive costumes, take to the streets in singing processions, and gather in a large clearing. The Levada is not only a procession but also a way to welcome summer together with friends.
