Vladimir Yevseyev: “Starting a war against Iran is not beneficial for the US”

The head of the Caucasus department of the Institute of CIS Countries, Vladimir Yevseyev, speaks about current relations between Iran and the US. Talks between Iran and the 5+1 international mediators (the five permanent members of the UNSC and Germany), aimed at a settlement of the nuclear problem of Iran, are on the home straight. By March 30th the sides should approve the political part of the agreement, and by the end of June they should agree on all technical details and sign the final document which guarantees the peaceful development of the Iranian nuclear industry in exchange for the elimination of sanctions. The participants in the talks confirm significant progress in the negotiating process.
