Ambassador of Serbia, "Belgrade expects opening of the borders from Croatia’’

The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Russia, Dr. Slavenko Terzic, spoke about the way Serbia is coping with the large influx of migrants. Since the beginning of 2015 about 500 thousand people have travelled to the EU. Serbia suffers the most from the influx of refugees, who use the country as a transit point on the way to Austria, Germany and France. The country estimates the cost to it at half a million euros. Hungary and Croatia recently blocked their borders with Serbia and started to deport immigrants back to their neighboring territories.
