Fire breaks out at Kazakhstan's oilfield
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaFire has broken out at the onshore Kalamkas oilfield in Kazakhstan's Mangistau province today, the country’s emergencies committee said.
The fire was reported at 07:10am local time (04:10am MSK). It covered 900 square meters.
14 people and 4 vehicles were involved in extinguishing the fire. There are no victims or casualties, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
The field is operated by the MangistauMunaiGas company.
