Fire has broken out at the onshore Kalamkas oilfield in Kazakhstan's Mangistau province today, the country’s emergencies committee said.
The fire was reported at 07:10am local time (04:10am MSK). It covered 900 square meters.
14 people and 4 vehicles were involved in extinguishing the fire. There are no victims or casualties, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
The field is operated by the MangistauMunaiGas company.
