Israel's Unity cabinet unravels, Gantz calls for election

“Today, we are leaving the emergency government," Gantz said.
Addressing a press conference in Tel Aviv, Gantz called on Netanyahu to hold early elections “as soon as possible.”
“I call on Netanyahu: set an agreed-on date for the elections,” he added.
Gantz had previously said he would leave the government by June 8 if Netanyahu did not formulate a new plan for postwar Gaza.
