Georgia and Hungary sign investment agreement
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaGeorgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó have signed an agreement “On Promotion and Mutual Protection of Investments".
This agreement aims to boost trade and economic cooperation between Georgia and Hungary and create new opportunities for bilateral investment.
“The discussions covered future steps to strengthen our partnership across various sectors, supported by the strategic framework established between our countries. We focused on cooperation in trade, economy, energy, and other fields. The impressive economic performance of Georgia was acknowledged, and the ongoing high-level exchanges were positively assessed," Darchiashvili said.
During his visit to Hungary, Darchiashvili met with Szijjártó both one-on-one and in an extended format.
The meeting also addressed security challenges, with both sides reiterating their support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
