Earthquake occurs on border of Armenia and Azerbaijan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAn earthquake struck northeastern Armenia on Friday, August 22, as reported by the Republic’s Seismic Protection Service.
The tremors were registered at approximately 16:03 local time (15:03 Moscow time), with a magnitude of 3.2.
The epicenter was located in the Armenia-Azerbaijan border zone, nearly 20 km from Noyemberyan, and the hypocenter was at a depth of 10,000 meters.
At the epicenter, the strength of the tremors reached 4 points.
