An earthquake struck northeastern Armenia on Friday, August 22, as reported by the Republic’s Seismic Protection Service.

The tremors were registered at approximately 16:03 local time (15:03 Moscow time), with a magnitude of 3.2.

The epicenter was located in the Armenia-Azerbaijan border zone, nearly 20 km from Noyemberyan, and the hypocenter was at a depth of 10,000 meters.

At the epicenter, the strength of the tremors reached 4 points.
