Funding for orphans housing program in Karachay-Cherkessia increases fivefold

In Karachay-Cherkessia, over 300 mln rubles will be allocated for the purchase of housing for orphans in 2026. Funding for this program has increased fivefold over the past five years.

Over 300 mln rubles will be allocated in Karachay-Cherkessia in 2026 to provide housing for orphans and children left without parental care, the head of the republic, Rashid Temrezov, informs.

"Considering the importance of this issue, at the regional level, we are consistently increasing funding from the republican budget for the purchase of housing for orphans. From 2021 to 2026, it has increased fivefold, and 308 mln rubles have been allocated for this purpose for the current year,”
