Rosatom to expand cooperation with BRICS states - Likhachev
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRussian state nuclear corporation Rosatom's BRICS partners have initiatives for the construction of large and small nuclear power plants (NPPs), CEO of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev said.
A number of agreements on nuclear energy cooperation between Russia and India have been finalised and are ready for signing, he noted.
"We have a number of documents with India that are fully finalised and ready for signing," Likhachev said.
This includes fourth-generation fast-neutron reactors, he added.
"We have new concrete initiatives on the table with almost all partner countries, the BRICS member countries, to increase the number of high-capacity units under construction, to include low-capacity units and research reactors on the agenda," Likhachev said.
