US redirects 101 commercial vessels as Iran blockade continues

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has provided an update on its ongoing naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz.

It said that as of September 12, 100 commercial vessels have been redirected by the U.S. Navy in the strait.

The U.S. reinstated its blockade on Iranian ports in July following the collapse of a ceasefire agreement between Washington and Tehran.
