Turkish foreign minister visits Gagauzia
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaTurkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has his first visit to Gagauzia, an autonomous territory of Moldavia, TRT reports.
The foreign minister took a walk on the streets of Komrat, the center of Gagauzians, and met Gagauzia head and legislative authority. Davutoglu reminded that Turks and Gagauzians make a total population of 75.2 million. Turkey lifts visas for Gagauzians visiting Anatolia.
Davutoglu visited the Komrat State University. He had a telephone conversation with Gyokkhan Cetinsaya, Chairman of the Council for Higher Education.
Concluding the visit, the Turkish foreign minister wished each family to have at least 3 children.
