Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has his first visit to Gagauzia, an autonomous territory of Moldavia, TRT reports.
The foreign minister took a walk on the streets of Komrat, the center of Gagauzians, and met Gagauzia head and legislative authority. Davutoglu reminded that Turks and Gagauzians make a total population of 75.2 million. Turkey lifts visas for Gagauzians visiting Anatolia.
Davutoglu visited the Komrat State University. He had a telephone conversation with Gyokkhan Cetinsaya, Chairman of the Council for Higher Education.
Concluding the visit, the Turkish foreign minister wished each family to have at least 3 children.
