Turkey may start operation against PKK in Syria
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaTurkish president Abdullah Gul said that Ankara may start an operation against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) if it becomes a threat to Turkey in the northern part of Syria, Trend reports.
The Turkish leader believes that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is capable of arming Kurdish militants. He also noted that Kurds have the right to self-identification and freedom, but should be distinguished from peaceful Kurds and PKK terrorists.
