Russian president calls for problem of illegal immigration to be resolved

During a meeting with the head of public administration of the Amur Oblast he demanded that the situation surrounding illegal immigration be resolved and that a simple code of rules for immigrants be created, reports RIA Novosti.
The head of the Federal Migration Agency, Constantine Romodanovsky, announced that Russia needs 5 million labor migrants, although 4 million work illegally. President Medvedev stressed that this number is far too large and that rules for migrants should be simple enough for them to follow.
