World Fencing Championship ends in Budapest

Russia won 3 gold medals, 5 silver and 3 bronze at the World Fencing Championship yesterday, Ves Sport reports.

Twice Olympic Champion Ilgar Mamedov, coach of the Russian national team, noted satisfaction with the achievements. He said that the team lacked five-time Champion Sofia Velikaya, twice Olympic Champion Tatyana Logunova and Olympic Champion Aida Shanayeva.
