Azerbaijani president congratulates Dagestani counterpart on winning elections

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has congratulated Ramazan Abdulatipov on winning the presidential elections in Dagestan.

He expressed hope that the two republics would strengthen friendship and good-neighbour relations to enforce peace, stability and progress in the Caucasus.
