Candidate for Georgian president Margvelashvili vows improved relations with Russia

Georgy Margvelashvili, a member of the Georgian Dream coalition campaigning to become president of Georgia, plans to initiate a rational dialogue with Russia if elected, but will not recognize Abkhazia and South Ossetia as independent states, RIA Novosti reports.

He explained that Georgia will be a state attractive for citizens of the breakaway republics.

The Georgian presidential polls will be held on October 27.
