Unemployment in Chechnya drops steadily

The Chechen government said that 33,400 jobs were created in the republic in 11 months of 2013, Newsland reports.The unemployment level in Chechnya was at 20% and should drop to 5% in five years, said Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov.Unemployment in Grozny was at 13%, in Groznensky District at 16%, Shatoysky District at 17%, said Magomed Daudov, Head of the Presidential and Governmental Administration. The worst indicators were in the districts of Nadterechny (37%), Naursky (35%) and Gudermessky (31%).Kadyrov said that one of the main instruments to reduce unemployment was to invite investment.
